Our Mission
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, families across North Carolina and Tennessee are struggling to rebuild their lives, often with little left to celebrate. Our mission with Helene Can’t Stop Santa is to bring the magic of Christmas to these families, restoring joy and creating new memories for children who’ve lost so much. We’re gathering new toys, clothing, and holiday essentials to help them celebrate Christmas in a way they otherwise couldn’t this year.
How You Can Help
We’re accepting donations of new toys, clothing (tags on), and holiday decorations to meet the specific needs of families who have lost everything. Many parents wish to wrap gifts for their children, so we also need new wrapping supplies like paper, tape, scissors, and name tags. We’re committed to ensuring that each item donated finds its way to families in need, helping them celebrate Christmas with dignity and joy.
Monetary Donations
Your financial support will help cover expenses for transporting and delivering items, as well as allowing us to purchase specific needs for families. Donations will fund U-Haul rentals, gas, lodging, and additional Christmas items requested by families. Every bit helps us spread holiday cheer to those who need it most during this difficult time. Thank you for helping us show these families that they are not alone.
